With the advent of the Windows 10 Creators Update in March 2017, the WSL was heavily updated and now is able to run ROS lunar and melodic.There are several installation steps required to get the packages to properly build. These instructions assume the user is running Ubuntu 18.04 with ROS Melodic and Gazebo 9.
